The Majesty Of God
Unlike the usual depictions of Jesus Christ with long hair and a white robe, the Bible describes Him quite differently. He seems to have flame from His waist to His head and to His feet (Ezekiel 1:26-28). He is omnipotent, omniscient, and is in control of everything (Isaiah 6:1-3). Surely, He is marvelous to behold!
The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit dwell in Jesus (Colossians 2:9-10) (Colossians 2:9-10) and wants to live richly in us (Colossians 1:27). When that happens, as He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). The world likes to tell us that He is a teacher, a prophet but not the Son of God.
The awesome God wants to be Lord of our life, working in us both to will and to do His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). He wants us to defeat our enemies because He gives us His mighty power to do anything (Philippians 4:13). He wants us undefeated and declares that nothing by any means shall hurt us (Luke 10:19). Through Him we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Today, let us not be shy, self-effacing or apologetic for being children of God. We have God living in us. We are called to be victorious in everything that we do and speak. Let our light shine brightly (Matthew 5:16). Let the world see His Majesty through us so that they can finally ask what they can do to be saved.
Ezekiel 1:26-28
New International Version
26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.
27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.
28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.
