It Is A New Day!!!

During these challenging times, we must remember that our times and our seasons are in God’s hands (Proverbs 19:21, Psalm 31:15).  As recent events all over the world have demonstrated, man may construct their complex plans, projections, and processes, but God has the final say (Psalm 75:6-7). We must know that God has the whole world in His hands, and He is making all things new (2 Corinthians 5:17).  At the end of days, when the last trumpet sounds, God declares that I am making everything new! (Revelation 21:1-5).

Since He is in the business of newness, let us not get bogged down by our past, our present, or even our dreams about our future. His mercies are renewed every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).  We have a fresh start; a reset of 24 hours to begin again. While the evil one will try to anchor us into our past failures, we can joyfully remind him of his future defeat.

Heraclitus, a Greek Philosopher, said, “The only constant in life is change.” We beg to differ; nothing is constant but the word of our Lord (Matthew 24:35).  He is the one in charge of our past, present and future. God says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11).

He even renews our youth! (Psalm 103:5). Let us not focus on our limitations but meditate the unlimited love of God who wants us to sit with Him in authority in heavenly places.  Let us continue to say, it is a new day (Psalm 118:24)!

Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

Revelation 21:1-5

New International Version

1 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
