The Best Motivational Book In the World

Kathryn Kuhlman, a traveling preacher and television personality between the 1940s and 1970s, talked about success for the believer in Christ.  She said, “Remember something, God never permitted a difficulty to come into our life without also giving us the ability to handle it. God has provided us with every faculty. He has given us the power that we need for living victoriously. It is a fact that everyone of us down deep has what it takes to successfully meet whatever life brings.”

No child, when asked what they want to be when they grow up, will say that they want to be a total failure in life.  We all want to turn out well in life.  We want to be well thought of and accomplish our tasks.  God wants that for us also.  In fact, He gave us the Bible, which is full of helpful advice for everyone to be victorious.  Even though we may go through various troubles in our life, the first chapter of Proverbs said those who love God’s law would succeed in everything they do (Psalm 1:1-3).  This is in stark contrast to the disobedient that are ruined (Psalm 1:6).

God will give us directions on our road to triumph (Isaiah 30:21) and all of the information that we need (Proverbs 2:6). God told Joshua to read, meditate, and think about His laws and commands and if he did so, he would be very successful (Joshua 1:8).  Joshua obeyed God and the Israelites were very effective in their ventures.

There are many motivational books but the best one is the Bible. Read it, study it and think about it and most of all, obey God’s words and like the biblical followers of God, you will ultimately have good success.

Psalms 1:1-3, 6
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
God blesses those people who refuse evil advice and won’t follow sinners or join in sneering at God.
Instead, the Law of the Lord makes them happy, and they think about it day and night.
They are like trees growing beside a stream, trees that produce fruit in season and always have leaves. Those people succeed in everything they do.
The Lord protects everyone who follows him, but the wicked follow a road that leads to ruin.

Isaiah 30:21
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, you will hear a voice saying, “This is the road! Now follow it.”

Proverbs 2:6
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
All wisdom comes from the Lord, and so do common sense and understanding.

Joshua 1:8
New International Version (NIV)
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
